I am an individual with a passion for technology. I have worked for technology companies for the last 26 years. I enjoy applying my professional knowledge to my personal life to fully realize the potential of the tech gadgets that me and my family are using.
However I often find myself becoming the “IT Guy” for my friends and extended family because software is still designed by tech people who don’t think like 99% of everyday users.
My objective is to provide tips and advice to make tech in your life easier. Honestly, life is difficult enough that we don’t need headaches with our gadgets, right?
At this stage, all the information is provided for free. I merely try to compile everything I know about managing the digital life of my family and make it freely available to the community. To be honest, I am myself surprised by how much stuff one needs to know just to keep things barely under control. The whole tech industry still has a long way to go to make things easy for non tech oriented users. Hopefully this content will be useful to a few people 😁
At the same time, I am teaching myself how to build a website from scratch with freely available tools. This site is running on WordPress installed on a Mac Mini 2014 running Linux Debian in my own home. I am using the free version of the theme ThemeGrill Accelerate.
